The Bat Bombs were green bat-themed explosives that are elaborate projectile weapons designed by the Riddler and objects featured in Batman Forever.
These bombs show the deep-rooted egomania within the Riddler as he utilizes a gimmick that Batman has used for generations against the Caped Crusader, being one of the few times this type of weaponry was utilized *against* Batman (who has always been known for creating bat-based weapons himself).
These were used to aid the Riddler in his destruction of the Bat Cave during the assault on Wayne Manor on a Halloween night as his partner-in-crime Two-Face grazed the unconscious Bruce Wayne in the head with his pistol while his henchmen kidnapped psychologist Dr. Chase Meridian.
There are probably more of Bat Bombs designed by the Riddler at his Claw Island lair outside of Gotham City, but it safe to assume they are all destroyed with whatever other inventions and weapons of both the Riddler and Two-Face at the now ruined Claw Island.
