The Bite of '87 is a horrendous incident that occurred at the second location of the haunted Freddy Fazbear's Pizza restaurant within the year 1987 in the videogame Five Nights At Freddy's 2 and it was only talked about by the strange Phone Guy during the first game.

The details of the incident are that the unknown animatronic would bite the victims making them lose their frontal lobe but still live from the attack.
The incident nearly ruined the company's reputation, with many other incidents that will make the company way more infamous.
Similar Events[]
The Bite of '83 was a important event that took place within the year 1983 in Five Night's at Freddy's 4, being one of the first events in the series chronologically. In order to get it, the player have to complete the Night 5, where Fredbear would attack Evan Afton/Crying Child during (3AM-5AM). It shows a scene where the Crying Child gets laughed at by older youngsters and his old brother Michael Afton wanting to "scare" him. Michael's gang make the Crying Child get close to FredBear and gets his head into Fredbear's mouth.
According to one of the lawsuits, a male child's head was bitten off by an unnamed animatronic and suffered many injuries, but his frontal lobe was still connected to his brain. The doctors don't know why and how long it will remain that why.

- As the animatronic remains unknown, many fans have made up their own theories on they think who cause The Bite of the '87. Many people think that it was Foxy or maybe even Mangle, as Mangle would straightly go the head (where the frontal lobe is located) and Foxy's cove would say "Out of Order!".
