Absolution, also often referred to as Redemption and Forgiveness, refers any kind of events, objects, powers, or location that while often, but not always associate with evil/malevolent forces, has positive influences which inspire anyone for redeeming themselves or convince the others to realizes their errors as well as forgiving the others from their mistakes.
Rapture events in This Is The End film (where actors Jay Baruchel and Seth Rogen eventually raptured after the apocalypse event led them to realize their errors) is another example for Absolution.
