The Chaos Energy Cannon is a giant laser cannon designed by Dr. Eggman for the purpose of awakening Dark Gaia.

History

When Dr. Eggman learned of Dark Gaia's existence, he was amazed by it's power and sought to control it. So he created the Chaos Energy Cannon to awaken Dark Gaia, but he could only operate the 7 Chaos Emeralds. Once he added them the weapon would reverse their polarity to create a dark energy to force Dark Gaia to rise.

• The energy cannon's name was revealed by Spagonia University scholar Professor Pickle.
• The Chaos Energy Cannon is very similar to the Space Colony ARK's Eclipse Cannon.
  • Both were created by a member of the Robotnik family.
  • Both have the power to destroy/rip apart a world with the power of the 7 Chaos Emeralds.
