Dr. Nefario built the Cookie Robots, which Gru uses to obtain the shrink ray from Vector.
Description[]
Cookie robots are originally simple, monocular devices that can be operated autonomously or by an external user. They are quick, nimble, and easily hidden because to the tiny size of their main components. The Cookie Robots are skilled at hacking in addition to having a cutting torch. They work in extremely well-organized squads, with the rest of the team (green soldier helmets) under the command of an officer (blue navy hat).
Plot[]
Gru has an idea and requests that Dr. Nefario build Cookie Robots after seeing the girls selling cookies to Vector. Before eventually meeting Gru's requests, Nefario misinterprets Gru's order and instead builds Boogie Robots.
Agnes, Edith, and Margo then send real cookies to combine with the Cookie Robots. After purchasing them, Vector places the cookies and the bots in a bowl and leaves. Then, beyond his line of sight, the Cookie Robots launch themselves into action, hacking Vector's vault and shattering the wall to let Gru and his two Minions inside. But before Gru leaves, the Cookie Robots seal the vault, forcing him to find another way out.
Later on, Vector eats a Cookie Robot by mistake rather than a genuine cookie, but he looks unconcerned and keeps munching.
