The End Times, also referred to as the End Time and the End of Time, is a chaotically grave period of time said to come before Armageddon and the Day of Judgement in which evil temporarily overpowers good in the world - allowing the Unholy Trinity to take command of large portions of Heaven and Earth against the Holy Trinity until the final battle between good and evil is waged (Armageddon), climaxing in the manifestation of God's Kingdom on Earth and the start of a new age (Day of Judgement). It is commonly known as the Apocalypse, End of Life, the End of Creation, the End of All Things, the End of Everything, the End of Existence, the End of the World and the End of the Universe.
According to most scriptures, the End Times will be the darkest chapters of history where "father will not spare son" and the natural order is torn asunder - most tales state that those of strong faith will be granted certain protections, but not much from the End Times.
Although a prominent part of mainstream religions, the End Times is by no means a universally accepted idea and some sects do not believe in an end of the world or a Judgement Day scenario, opting instead on a belief that all beings (regardless of their sins) will eventually reach salvation.
There are also some who believe that the End Times is the ultimate judgement and that instead of the Lake of Fire scenario described in the Day of Judgement, the true punishment for evil or lost souls is to remain on a ruined Earth rather than enter Heaven, this is common in sects that believe the physical world is actually the cause of suffering and as such view this world as a type of Hell) (or Purgatory).
There are also groups within Christianity that believe the events of Revelations (and by extension the End Times) has already occurred and was not describing the literal end of the world but rather the oppression of early Christianity under rules such as Roman emperor Nero and their subsequent victory over said oppressors.
