The Falling Cliffs is a hostile, mountain region located somewhere in the Realm of Outworld. Plagued with constant tremors and earthquakes, this region is also volcanic which makes it very dangerous. It is one of many well known areas in Mortal Kombat: Deception.
A small rounded fighting arena of dirt and rocks, and on it are a few double-barred cross-like polls on the outside rim with dead bodies of unfortunate people who are being crucified on them, and with a view of mountains within the background.
Sulfur pours out of cracks and holes. Mountains blow smoke like giant chimneys. Worst, this place is plagued with constant tremors and earthquakes, and even more, it is also volcanic which makes it very dangerous. Sulfur pours out of cracks and holes. Mountains blow smoke like giant chimneys.
As a fight continues, the arena itself becomes smaller and smaller as the outer levels fall away due to earthquakes.
Fighters caught on the ledge when this happens will find themselves impaled by the spikes at the bottom of the canyon. In the event that both players fall and are impaled, the player with the least damage taken during the match will win. If however both players fall and are impaled when they have a health bar of 100%, one is almost always the winner.
- The arena returns returned in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon as an unlockable stage but no changes have been made to it.
