Honorable Villains

When a fellow human being is suffering, why wouldn't we want to lend a hand? Empathy. It's the only thing that separates us from the beasts.
~ General Jonathan Krantz, explaining why he chose to provide advanced medical treatment to Michael Scofield for his brain tumor.
'Cause sometimes, it's good to be human.
~ Simon Adebisi in Oz episode Animal Farm, telling Kenny Wangler not to steal Bob Rebadow's money that he collected to send his sick grandson to Disneyland.

Honorable Villains is a TV-Tropes popularized term found in fiction about villains who follows a strict moral code.

Why This Character have Fundemental rule in them?

Not all villains who act with following rules or just for sake of being a villain. But for Honorable Villains, they always following a strict code of honor, moral, or degree of compassion..

Honorable Villains prefer to stay a fair play with hero. Some may due to their moral compass set on Grey Zone, misguided hero whom unknowingly goes o darker path, or respecting the hero for his/her acts of heroism no matter what. Because of it they still have positive qualities, and depend on the story, they may decided to abandoned the Dark Side upon being spared by the Hero/Heroine after the Hero/Heroine defeat them or in more positive light, chooses to join forces with him/her agains the worse threats. So it means Complete Monsters can never qualify as Honorable Villain as even if they play a 'Fair Play' with the hero, this usually is a hoax made by them to kill them when the moment is precisely (e.g. Makuta Teridax, Shang Tsung, Sigma), and others use this as a freudian excuse to act 'Elegant' but they reveal that they are brutal traitor with no remorse (Frieza and Emperor Palpatine are a good Example).

This page is for only villains who have a strict code of honor and still have positive qualities, And adittion this type of villains usually reedem themselves at the end when they are defeated for the hero (The Beast from Kung Fu Hustle is a good example of this, though he actually is more or less an anti-hero but still count).
