The Horok Castle (also known as Horok and the Seeing Hand) is a hand-shaped castle found somewhere in the magical imaginary realm of Fantastica/Fantasia and it is home to the evil sorceress Xayide. It is one of the known locations in the 1979 German novel Die unendliche Geschichte (The Neverending Story).
The Seeing Hand because of its name, is a black fortress shaped like a hand with the multitude of windows appear like human eyes. It shoots magic lasers from its fingertips at trespassers and enemies alike.
There is a number of rooms throughout the Horok Castle including Xayide's very own throne room. where she usually sits on her sinister coral-styled throne.
Xayide calls this sinister hand-shaped fortress her home and her domain as she rules over her controlled creations and her miserable minions as well as plots new schemes for her total takeover of Fantasia. The Horok Castle is also where she harnesses or practices her awesome sorcerous powers and kept a number of magic-based items including her strangely luxurious coach vehicle she named the "Xobile", her evil enchanted invisibility belt called Ghemmal, a memory-stealing magic device called the Memory Machine, and even a secret magical ointment that can change as well as create any new beautiful human-like face for her due to her actual empty face.
The Horok Castle became inactive and abandoned after the young Bastian Balthazar Bux saved all of Fantasia and the Childlike Empress when Xayide was crushed by her no-longer-controlled Giants, causing her magic to be extinguished, herself destroyed and the Emptiness defeated.
