Lampy is a "henchman and close friend" to Awful Alvin.
History[]
When Lampy initially appeared, he listened to his master's scheme to send his army of irate eyebrows to Bumblyburg. From the rooftop of the Daily Bumble, he and Alvin observed the plan's success until Larry arrived to put the Knitmaster away. Larry knows who might be responsible for the angry eyebrows attacking the city because Lampy was immobile. Although Junior claims that Lampy was incarcerated with Alvin, it is unknown what happened to him when Larry-Boy halted the eyebrows.
According to Tom Bancroft, Lampy is the Charlie Chaplin of villains because he is charming, quiet, and innocent all the time. He is buddies with everyone, even Larry-Boy, even though he is still a villain. Of course, it was meant to be through the perspective of Awful Alvin to showcase his insanity; the latter wasn't aware that he's not sentient despite never doing and/or saying should be dead-giveaways.
Appearance[]
Lampy is a brown, inanimate lamp with a rudimentary face painted on the shade. The lamp is made of dark brown wood, has three legs, and is connected by a gold part. The shade is cream, the cap is grayish-blue, and the pole into which the lightbulb is inserted is gold.
The wood in The VeggieTales Show is a paler shade of brown, and the area that joins the torso and legs is the same hue. The rod and cap where the shade attaches have different hues; the piece where the lightbulb is located is gray-blue, while the cap is gold. The shaded face is depicted quite differently. The eyes are simply drawn circles without any color, and the smile is considerably smoother.
