Manchurian Gold is a name given to an extremely hazardous bio-weapon developed by the United States military in the 1940s. A chemical with hallucinogenic properties, it is the main force behind the horrors seen in the videogame "Man of Medan", created by Supermassive Games.
Appearence
When being transported by the military, the Manchurian gold was contained within several wooden containers. Inside the containers several bags containing a golden colored crystalline powder are seen. In its gas form, The Manchurian Gold takes the form of a green-blue mist, appearing often in-game.
Power and Abilities
The Manchurian Gold was seen to induce intense paranoia and hallucinations from those exposed to it, often causing them to see other people as monsters or some other supernatural being. The chemical was known to be extremely unstable when in a solution or exposed to an electrical current. If exposed to any liquid or electicity, The Manchurian Gold's crystalline powder would leak a potent mist that only required a small level of exposure in order to inflict the full range of symptoms. If exposed to it enough, the victim would risk succumbing to the bio-weapon and dying from an intense heart attack, often leaving a terrified look on their dead bodies.
