Nom Nom's Remote Control is an electronic device in the Cartoon Network animated series We Bare Bears. It is used by Nom Nom to help him get rid of the Bears, specifically Panda and Grizzly. It was used to control the aggressiveness of Nom Nom's sharks using the sharks' collars. It made its first and only appearance in the episode "Nom Nom".

Appearance

It is a little black box with two images of shark fins emerging from the water above and below a red button with an antenna at the top. The red button will switch between ON and OFF, ON giving a glowing green light, while OFF gives off a glowing red light.

History

Nom Nom is first seen using the remote control in a video clip from Morning with Marie while responding to backlash from his book-signing outburst. He throws a steak into a pool, turns the remote on, and the sharks in the pool go rampant for the meat. Once they finish, he turns it off.

Later in the episode, at a public pool, Nom Nom uses the remote again to activate his real plan on the Bears. When the Bears enter the pool, he turns off the remote, causing sharks with collars to slide into the pool. The collars' green lights turn red, making the sharks go after the Bears.

Nom Nom swims toward the Bears, intending to "save" them and restore his reputation. He stops the sharks with his remote, but when the Bears panic and shake him, he drops it into the water. The remote short circuits, and the sharks’ collars permanently turn off, sending them into a rampage.
