The Palace of Justice is a castle-like building and a location in the film The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Hu​nchback of Notre Dame II.


In the first flim, Judge Frollo uses the Palace of Justice to bring people like criminals or smuggled gypsies to be judged and tortured.

In the second film The Hunchback of Notre Dame II, Phoebus is using the Palace of Justice as more of a prison, as show when Madellanie was brought here after she was arrested. Despite it's name, It was a place of injustice, fear and terror when Frollo was in control.


  • The Palais de Justice located in the Île de la Cité in central Paris, France, is built on the site of the former royal palace of Saint Louis, of which the Sainte Chapelle remains. Thus the justice of the state has been dispensed at this site since medieval times. From the sixteenth century to the French Revolution this was the seat of the Parlement de Paris.
  • The Palace of Justice makes a cameo in the videogame Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance.
