- In Norse mythology, Sökkvabekkr (translated in English as "sunken bank") is the residence of the goddess Sága where she and the chief Norse god Odin would drink from the cool waves. Because of this, it is commonly theorized by scholars that Sökkvabekkr is simply another name for Fensalir, the location of Odin's wife Frigg, who is similarly thought to be the same figure as Sága.
