The Super Collider is a device designed by Doctor Octopus and an object in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. This machine can access alternate universes and bring other versions of people.
History
At some unknown point, when Kingpin was fighting Spider-Man, his wife and son caught them in the act. Vanessa became so shocked by her husband's true nature, she hurriedly left with Richard in a quick getaway, but as a result they both ended up getting killed in a car accident, severely traumatizing Fisk.
Kingpin was so traumatized at his family's death, he had his assistant Olivia Octavius build a machine called the Super Collider. He believed this would allow him to access alternate dimensions and allow him to reunite with his wife and son.
Powers and Abilities
The Super Collider has the power to access parallel universes. It can also bring alternate versions of certain people if there's a piece of their DNA in the scanner.
Weaknesses
The machine has proven to unstable and will open a black hole that would destroy Brooklyn it and everyone in it. Any person it transported couldn't stay in the home dimension too long or their atoms would disintegrate as would they. The collider would rip apart the space-time continuum, bring other dimensions to the home one.
However, the collider has an override switch with a USB port. Once puts in an override key, they take control of the beam and if they push the green button it will explode.
