    • Information for Hourglass:

      Kronika's Hourglass or simply referred as simply Hourglass, is a powerful time manipulation device belonged to Kronika, the Keeper of Time and Architect of History in Mortal Kombat 11.
      Appearing as a giant, ornate silver hourglass, this artifact of immense power is the focal point of Kronika's ability over time and history for eons. The Hourglass allows her to alter time and space itself, plan or alter course history, or even bring those in the past to the present. To safeguard it, the artifact is protected by Kronika and her forces in the very heart of her personal keep.
      A testament of the Hourglass' power is its creation of countless timelines while in the hands of Kronika, all in the name of seeking out order and balance through all realms. Whenever the course of history begins to go not in a direction she pleases, in specific cases the scales between good and evil go out of sync and lose balance, Kronika begins gathering as much power as she can before turning back the Sands of Time within the Hourglass itself to wipe out the current timeline and begin again. The device can also bring forth younger versions of people from the past and even ensuring both doppelganger of the same person to exist and occupy the same space at the same time. Should the person in question happened to be an immortal god however, his present-day self would instantly cease to exist; this happened to Dark Raiden who crumbles into sand as result of the presence of his past, uncorrupted self brought to the present.
      Following Kronika's destruction, the Hourglass fell into the custody of Liu Kang and Kitana so its powers won't be abused again.

      Information for Amulet of Kronika:

      Amulet of Kronika is a powerful, ancient amulet belonged to the eponymous Keeper of Time and Architect of History in Mortal Kombat 11.
      As with the Hourglass, the Amulet serves as the symbol of Kronika's power over time and history, and thus arguably has the same powers with the former albeit in inferior scale. As its wielder, Kronika, being a Titan who predates the Elder God, the artifact is plausiby very ancient, yet hold a great power, arguably more than Amulet of Shinnok.

      Note: The information about Amulet of Kronika is very limited as of now, so I'll let you know if there's a new development.

    • Next questions;

      A. What fatality you found most sickening and violent in Mortal Kombat series?

      B. Who are your favorite Mortal Kombat characters? Mine are Kung Lao (for his razor hat), Scorpion (cuz he got kunai-tipped chain imbued with hellfire), Reptile (being a humanoid lizard that can spit acid), and Baraka (being one of the most intelligent Tarkatan and has cool wrist blades).

      C. Which Mortal Kombat game you ever played at least one (if any)? Mine is the first Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks (though the latter technically non-canon despite sharing same element with both first and second game).

      D. What's your favorite location in Mortal Kombat series?

      The question above are actually optional, but my impatience drove me moving them back and forth between threads. Sorry about this misunderstanding.

    • You know what's so funny in how I was introduced to Mortal Kombat? I initially believed it to be unique yet ordinary game when I played Mortal Kombat 2. When I played Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, I finally see how brutal it can be upon the sight of Kung Lao cuts his opponent into half with his hat!

        Loading editor
    • I liked that one. It's sick but cool. Real cool.

    • As a bonus point, when playing Mortal Kombat 2 game back then, as soon as FINISH HIM prompt appeared, I won the fight with "a simple punch/kick on my opponent's face" instead of pressing fatality inputs. It might sounds funny or embarrassing but, to be fair, I was oblivious to the fatality feature. On the bright side, it spared me from witnessing a gruesome scene given that I was little when playing it.

    • B1bl1kal, did you know that Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the actor who portrayed Shang Tsung in the first Mortal Kombat movie, reprised his role in Mortal Kombat 11?

        Loading editor
    • Allow me to put it this way... Hells yeah! & he still gets it, man! B-)

        Loading editor
    • Yes.

      Anyway, B1bl1kal, is it true that Shang Tsung's ability to absorb other people's soul also doubles as sort of curse as he is forced to periodically absorbing souls to prevent himself from suffering rapid aging? And Kronika turned out orchestrated such misfortune so she can exploited his cursed power for her schemes?

    • Yes. & yes.

      Also, don't forget to check out my 2 new pages Timecraft & the New Era later.

    • Next question;

      A. B1bl1kal, what's your opinion about the news regarding oncoming new Ghostbusters film? If you ask me, I hoped that the film being as epic as 2016 version, if not better. I still like 2016 version which features all female cast, though I still upset by the fact it was ruined by a hater campaign masterminded by a bunch of mysoginistic, mother******* jack***es. Those haters deserved no right for toppling film industries, you know?

      B. I just heard that there's a plan for new Mortal Kombat film. What character you expect to appear? Mine is Kung Law, cuz I wish to see him kicking some butt (or precisely, making literal minched meats) with his signature hat.

        Loading editor
    • Thank you so much, my man. You da best. & don't forget to check out the Cathedral of Shinnok (aka Shinnok's Bone Temple) right away.

      My opinion? Gosh, honestly, it's kinda a'ight, but the problem is both the whole story plot & the cast's 'age' aspect. First of all, the new generation (the friggin' to trailer) Ghostbusters were supposed to be younger, like in teen years, ya know what I'm sayin'? Have anybody in the world seen the animated show Extreme Ghostbusters? Plus, among the chauvinistic jacka$$ MFs in this hater campaign against the 2016 film is some dumba$$, cheap elitist British white dude who posted a lot of ugly gorilla comments against this one black chick who started in Comedy Central's The Mind of Mencia & later that true story movie Masterminds, right? & excuse my Francias, but why the hell would that boringa$$ primitive Brit have to go & made it a lot worse, especially for yourself, sir? I don't get it. It's too damn cliche & too damn predictable with the lame race thing (painfully boring). Ugh. Anyway, as for the storyline from the said film with some big inconsistencies, like what the F is this "Fourth Cataclysm"? & what about the other 3 "Cataclysms" (like meteor showers in prehistoric times or an ice age or something?). I'm @ a loss here.

      Originally, as I remembered reading about this plan for a brand new Mortal Kombat movie, they were gonna shoot one of it's scenes somewhere in Louisiana but that never happened due to Hurricane Katrina or something.

      Good choice, sir.

      As for this probable MK film, my choice for Liu Kang is gonna have to be martial artist Jon Foo from The Protector & Tekken. He's awesome. &, if they're serious about bringing his buddy and pupil Kai into the fray, my choice is actor Chadwick Boseman. Wakanda forever! B-)

    • That's okay. I can tell you also upset by what those jack***es did on 2016 version of Ghostbusters as much as I do. Oh, and I have watched Extreme Ghostbusters when I was a kid. In fact, that TV series was my first Ghostbusters cartoon. Let us hope that in the upcoming new Ghostbusters film, the plot revolves about veteran members of the titular team teaching new generations agaisnt another demon or ghost threats.

      Other than Kung Lao, I also wished to see Liu Kang (but this time with his occasional pyrokinetic feats as shown in Shaolin Monks), Reptile, Sub Zero, Scorpion, Kitana, Johnny Cage, Shang Tsung (with elderly form portrayed by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), Raiden (with his signature straw hat)Goro, and the nasty Shao Kahn. Hopefully Kronika also appears.

    • There you go. You get it.

      Dipset.

      & I hope they also showed important groups alongside the Elder Gods in the new film like the Red & Black Dragon Clans, the Special Forces, the Lin Kuei Clan, the Shirai Ryu Clan, & the Brotherhood of Shadow. That could be important too.

    • Information I gathered for New Era article:

      New Era refers to the planned reset of history and sinister goal of Kronika in Mortal Kombat 11.
      ==Overview==
      This plan was envisioned by the Keeper of Time herself once her son, the Elder God Shinnok, was permanently taken out by Raiden of an intricate game she designed for him: to be the bastion of death and darkness against his sister, also an Elder God, Cetrion, the bastion of life and light. With his exclusion, it was impossible for her meticulous plan to find perfection.
      The main difference from the present timeline was that Raiden was to be wiped from history, and this was not only a necessary feature in order to avoid him unbalancing reality, but as a token of loyalty by using his enemies to defend the New Era (particularly Shao Kahn, Kitana and Liu Kang). While this was to be the main difference between present and possible future, the goal Kronika wanted to achieve was to revive Shinnok and put him once again to pose as an opposite to Cetrion, while both kept their complex and tricky battle against each other by feeding on the war between the realms.
      ==Changes Promised by Kronika==
      Kronika promised other changes to those who would assist her plans, most of them Raiden's enemies, however, it is unclear whether or not she planned on honoring her commitments. These changes included:
      • Making Shao Kahn the emperor of Outworld again.
      • Ensuring Frost's takeover of Lin Kuei as their new leader.
      • Stopping Jacqui Briggs from joining the Special Forces.
      • The revival of the Tarkata.
      • The formation of a clan for Noob Saibot and to alter his death at the hands of Scorpion.
      • The survival of the Kytinn.
      • The revival of the Shirai Ryu.
      • The Black Dragon's success.
      • The revival of the Cyber Lin Kuei.
      • Glory for revenant Kung Lao.
      ==Outcomes==
      If Kronika did succeed in resetting the timeline, so far depends on the ending of Mortal Kombat 11:
      • If the players loses one round to her, Liu Kang is unable to keep her from resetting time and going back to the Chaotian Age, erasing everything that has ever existed. This way, only the Chosen One and Raiden remain to sculpt the Sands of Time.
      • If the player manages to win both rounds, Liu Kang is not only successful in avoiding Kronika resetting everything by her own, but as the timeline still goes on, he is capable of bringing Kitana with him. Once he does, both reset time to erase Kronika's mischievous plans, and he assumes the mantle of Keeper of Time and Protector of Earthrealm.

      Feel free to copy and paste this to its article.

    • And addition info for Timecraft:

      As powerful as it seemed, the art of Timecraft still has its limitations: The usage of such art at its fullest requires immense sources of energy from the outside, such as Earthrealm's Jinsei and the crown hidden away in Shang Tsung's island empowered by the countless souls he had gathered over his lifetime, the latter which explained why Kronika ensured Shang Tsung to be burdened by his ability to consume souls. Also, Timecraft has little effect against those with enough power to counteract it such as Raiden and Liu Kang, which confirmed by the latter once he ascended into a god.
