B1bl1kal, remember when we worked on expanding The Sorcerer's Apprentice wiki together and I (unofficially) collectively classified special items sorcerers used as the instrument to cast magic (ex. Dragon Ring, Horvath's Cane, and Sun Lok's belt) as catalyst? Now I wonder whether I was wrong and should called them magical conduits instead?

Meaning of conduit:
  1. a natural or artificial channel through which something (such as a fluid) is conveyed
  2. a means of transmitting or distributing
Meaning of catalyst:
  1. a substance that enables a chemical reaction to proceed at a usually faster rate or under different conditions (as at a lower temperature) than otherwise possible
  2. an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action
