The Violet Crystal is the overarching antagonist of the MARDEK video game series.
Plot[]
The Violet Crystal fell on Anshar a few years before the events of the series. The Governance de Magi used to be a benevolent group until they were affected by it. Rohoph tried to destroy it, but was caught and sentenced to death.
The Violet Crystal amplifies people's strongest emotions, causing Moric to send a plague of zombies to kill people on Belfan. Rohoph wasn't inmune to it despite what he claims, seeing how he promised not to seal Qualna but then broke his promise and then tried to push Mardek's friends away.
