The Zombot Sharktronic Sub is one of the robots created by Dr. Zomboss in Plants vs. Zombies 2. Like all other Zombots, it was used by him to defeat the players and eat their brains in Big Wave Beach and Modern Day.
History
Plants vs. Zombies 2
The Zombot Sharktronic Sub was first introduced in Big Wave Beach - Day 32 as a boss. The players had to use Big Wave Beach plants (Lily Pads, Tangle Kelps, Bowling Bulbs, Homing Thistles, Guacodiles, and Banana Launchers) to fight Dr. Zomboss with this robot. After the robot was defeated, its sharp teeth and fin fell out, with the beach water filled in Zomboss's cabin, and he can be seen saying something inside. When he teleported away, the players earned a Big Wave Beach trophy (a bag when replayed) as a reward.
In Modern Day - Day 33, when the game picked the Big Wave Beach boss fight, Dr. Zomboss resent the Zombot Sharktronic Sub to fight the players. They had to use Lily Pads, Pepper-pults, Chard Guards, Stunions, Rotobagas, and Shrinking Violets to fight him. Zomboss summoned the same zombies and performed the same attacks from the previous level. After he was defeated, the players earned a Modern Day Pinata (a money bag when replayed) as a reward.

The Zombot Sharktronic Sub returned in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes is a Science Pet Zombie of Sneaky class. The robot costs 5, its rarity is Premium-Legendary, and its trait is Amphibious (which allows the players to play it on water lanes). Its strength and health are both five. When a plant gets hurt, the robot destroys it, and when that plant is destroyed, it gains one extra strength. When attack, the robot summons sharks to deals with damages to them. Additionally, an Imp pilots it instead of Dr. Zomboss.
Plants vs. Zombies 3
The Zombot Sharktronic Sub returned in this game with the name Sharktronic Sand Sub. It is one of the Beach Zombies, and it was piloted by an Imp instead of Dr. Zomboss. It submerges and pretends to be a Shark Costume Zombie. When revealed, it bites plants with its jaw.
Appearance
The Zombot Sharktronic Sub takes the form of the shark with yellow eyes. It has sharp jaws and a mouth turbine to pull plants and zombies and then instantly kill them. Dr. Zomboss is encased inside a glass tank with an antenna on top of it.

- Dr. Zomboss submerges and moves around to avoid incoming attacks from plants.
